China says U.S. tariff decision on Chinese goods will hurt U.S.

The U.S. decision to continue imposing additional tariffs on Chinese goods amid mounting inflation is bound to inflict more losses on U.S. enterprises and consumers, China's Ministry of Commerce said Thursday.

China has always believed that the U.S. Section 301 measures are not conducive to the U.S., China, or the world, said ministry spokesperson Shu Jueting at a press briefing when responding to a related question.
