It's popular among tourists because it's where you'll find Hong Kong's largest outlet mall.
Citygate is currently undergoing a facelift and is adding an extension that will increase retail space and double the number of F&B outlets on offer here.?

Tung Chung is also the starting point for the The Ngong Ping 360 cable car.
It connects passengers to major tourist attractions including the Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha.
Its operators estimate the new bridge could increase visitor numbers by as much as 10%.?

Right now, it takes around four hours to travel from Hong Kong to Zhuhai on land.
The bridge is expected to cut that down to just over one hour.
