(ECNS) -- The latest intelligent intercity high-speed electric multiple units (EMUs) rolled off the production line in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province on Tuesday, CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. announced today.
The train will run on intercity lines between Zhengzhou to Kaifeng, and downtown Zhengzhou to Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in central China's Henan Province.
The four-car train is built based on the CRRC's intelligent intercity EMU platform with a maximum speed 200 km per hour. It features a high passenger capacity, fast acceleration and braking, and efficient boarding and alighting.
The train adopts a fully digital Ethernet communication system and 5G network technology, enabling real-time TV broadcasting, intelligent passenger information interaction, and other full-scenario smart applications.
Smart windows are equipped on the train for the first time, capable of displaying personalized information and providing human-machine interaction.

The train's interior boasts high-performance, eco-friendly coatings, with a material recyclability rate of 75 percent and a biodegradable material usage rate of over 50 percent.
The train will shorten travel between Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, better meeting the daily commuting needs of the public upon operation.
