Beijing reports 1 new local COVID-19 case, 26 patients discharged from hospital

(ECNS) -- Beijing reported one new locally transmitted COVID-19 case and no asymptomatic cases on Wednesday, said Beijing Municipal Health Commission on its official WeChat account on Thursday.

The city also reported a COVID-19 case from Taiwan.

They have been transferred to designated hospitals for treatment and relevant epidemiological investigations have been conducted already.

A total of 26 infected patients were discharged from hospital after treatment on Wednesday.
