(ECNS) -- Beijing reported 43 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and nine asymptomatic cases on Monday, said Beijing Municipal Health Commission on its official WeChat account on Tuesday.
They have been transferred to designated hospitals for treatment and relevant epidemiological investigations have been conducted already.
Fifty-seven infected cases were discharged from hospital after treatment on Monday.
