(ECNS) -- Shanghai reported 69 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 infections and 869 asymptomatic cases on Sunday, according to the official WeChat account of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission.
Of the 69 confirmed cases, 42 were from previously reported asymptomatic people and 27 were found among people under quarantine.
All 869 asymptomatic cases were found among people in quarantine.
A new imported COVID-19 case was also detected in a closed-loop management zone.
