China's immigration authorities will resume port visa issuance and 72/144 hour visa-free transit policy for Korean Citizens on Saturday, said the National Immigration Administration on Wednesday.
NIA said in a statement that, as Korea has resumed the issuance of short-term visas for Chinese citizens, Chinese immigration authorities will resume the issuance of port visas and the 72/144-hour transit visa-free policy for Korean Citizens on Saturday.
NIA suspended the issuance of port visas to Korean citizens and excluded them from the 72/144 hour visa-free transit policy as a response to its discriminatory restrictions imposed on Chinese travelers on Jan 12.
