The military parade on Oct 1 will be the first military parade after the military reform and the biggest in recent years. The parade will last about 80 minutes, said Major General Cai Zhijun, deputy director of the Leading Group Office of Military Parade and deputy director general of the Operation Bureau of the Joint Staff Department, the Central Military Commission.
A record number of generals and high-level commanders will take part in the parade.
