The SAR government bears zero tolerance to any kind of violence carried out at any time, anywhere and towards any people. "We thus call on all citizens to safeguard the city's law and order and never resort to violence", Lam concluded.
Hong Kong's Commissioner of Police Lo Wai-chung pledged that the police investigation will begin immediately and pursuethe offenders at all costs to bring them justice.
