The General Staff of the People's Liberation Army has issued the Military Training Instructions for 2013, making the overall arrangements for this year's military training work.
It says all army forces and armed police should strengthen combat and information warfare training and step up the modernization of the military, so it can engage in and win wars. Troops should be alerted of crises and their urgency, be aware of their missions and responsibilities, and be prepared for military action.
