(ECNS) -- The Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit 2025 was held in Beijing on Thursday. Simon Lichtenberg, the all China founding chairman of the Danish Chamber of Commerce, said that tariffs imposed by the U.S. have much impact on a lot of businesses and the U.S. customers will finally pay for this. These tariffs have caused panic in the world, Lichtenberg said.
“From a consumer’s point of view or retailers’ point of view, it's very hard to manage their supply chain. It's almost impossible. It's really disruptive,” he said. (Zhang Dongfang Chen Caixia)
