Who's the robot? Meet the prototype behind robot 'Hobbs'

(ECNS)--On May 11, Chinese tech start-up Noetix unveiled its latest robotic innovations at a product launch event held in Future Science City, Changping District, Beijing. The spotlight was on the N2 humanoid robot, which was known for its small size but tenacious, outstanding performance at the recent Yizhuang Half Marathon, as it delivered a public performance of continuous backflips for the first time, earning rounds of applause.

According to Jiang Zheyuan, founder and chairman of Noetix, this marked the N2 robot's first time performing high-difficulty flips outside the lab, demonstrating a significant leap in the company's humanoid motion control technology.

The event also featured the debut of "Xiao Nuo," a next-generation humanoid robot. Hu Chenxu, the company's co-founder and chief scientist, noted that Xiao Nuo builds upon the earlier "Hobbs" model, with enhanced algorithm design and hardware integration.
