Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived at Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday for a state visit to Malaysia. During an exclusive interview with China News Network, Dato' Ong Chong Yi, executive director of the BRICAP, believed that this visit builds on a strong symbolic and strategic foundation.

He further pointed out that substantial progress of the Malaysia-China relationship has been seen, particularly through the Belt and Road Initiative. In the future, bilateral cooperation can evolve into new areas like AI, digitalization, and green energy, Dato’ Ong noted. (Chen Tianhao)
