China persists in diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis

China has consistently maintained a rational and neutral stance on the Ukraine issue and has never ceased its diplomatic mediation efforts, said Zhang Hong, a researcher at the Institute of Russian, Eastern European, and Central Asian Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Li Haidong, professor at Institute of International Relations at the China Foreign Affairs University in a recent talk with China News Service.

As of Monday, it had been three years since the escalation of the Ukraine crisis.
