China's military parade to display new types of combat forces including unmanned, intelligent equipment

(ECNS) -- China's military parade to be held on Sept. 3 will display new types of combat forces including unmanned, intelligent equipment, the State Council Information Office (SCIO) announced on Tuesday at a press conference.

This military parade features traditional main battle forces and new domains, and new quality forces. All equipment on display will be domestically produced battle equipment already in service, it said.

While showcasing a new generation of conventional weaponry, the parade also incorporates new combat forces such as unmanned intelligence, underwater warfare, network and electronic attack and defense, and hypersonic warfare equipment, demonstrating Chinese military's strong ability to evolve according to science and technology advancements and to win future wars, according to the conference.
