Explosion at fireworks factory in central Chna leaves 2 missing, 9 injured

(ECNS) -- An explosion rocked the Shanzhou Fireworks Factory in central China's Hunan Province on Monday morning, leaving two people missing and nine injured, local authorities said.

The factory is one of several licensed fireworks producers in Linli County, a major center for fireworks manufacturing in Hunan.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion and are managing recovery efforts.
