1.Xi says dialogue, cooperation only correct choice for China, U.S. in phone call with Trump
Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday that dialogue and cooperation are the only correct choice for China and the United States.
In the phone talks initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump, Xi said that recalibrating the direction of the giant ship of China-U.S. relations requires the two sides to take the helm and set the right course, adding that it is particularly important to steer clear of the various disturbances and disruptions.

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson on Wednesday commented on the election of Lee Jae-myung as the new president of the Republic of Korea (ROK).

China has recently approved the nation's first homegrown nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV), said the domestic developer Xiamen Innovax Biotech in a statement released on Wednesday.
It protects against nine types of HPV infection and marks the world's second such vaccine capable of doing so.
The new vaccine is jointly by the company and Xiamen University. Both institutions are based in Xiamen in East China's Fujian province.
