Doraemon's 45th anniversary movie to hit Chinese theaters
(ECNS) -- The latest installment of the Doraemon movie series for 2025 — Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales — recently premiered in Beijing.
The movie is set to be released this Saturday in China.
As the 45th anniversary installment of the Doraemon movie series, Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales not only brings back Doraemon's beloved secret gadgets but also touches audiences again with the enduring friendship between Doraemon and Nobita.
Reportedly, the film received highly positive reviews after its release in Japan this March, earning the highest rating ever for a Doraemon movie on the authoritative review site Filmarks.
The premiere created an immersive fantasy world of painting that blended interactive fun with entertainment. Several scenes from the movie were faithfully recreated, bringing the 13th-century Principality of Artoria vividly to life.
The Doraemon team of five, dressed in medieval-style costumes, appeared in the cinema lobby and warmly interacted with the audience of all ages.
