The phrase is taken from a sentence "Being in love is easy, being married is not. It is to be cherished" which is posted by Chinese actress Ma Yili on her Sina Weibo account after her husband Wen Zhang, who is also an actor, made a public apology to his wife for his extramarital affairs on March 30.

3月30日凌晨0點4分,文章發布微博,首度承認與姚笛的婚外戀,并就此道歉.其妻子馬伊琍隨后發微博回應"戀愛雖易,婚姻不易,且行且珍惜."(Being in love is easy, being married is not. It is to be cherished).

隨著該事件持續發酵, "文章出軌門"已經漂洋過海到了全球各地,出現在多家國外媒體的版面上.包括英國BBC、《每日郵報》、美國美聯社、《紐約每日新聞報》、等多家外媒都對此事進行了報道.

Wen Zhang hit out at the two senior journalists who exposed his affair. "…You both have children. When will you stop? If you want to play, play with me alone and don't involve others…" he posted.
