The year 2025 marks the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. As the first dual-purpose road-rail bridge independently built by Chinese, the Qiantang River Bridge was built during wartime in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Just 89 days after its opening in 1937, the bridge was destroyed to resist the southward advance of Japanese troops.
Weathered by time, the bridge still spans the Qiantang River today, bearing witness to the city's development and transformation.
