This geopark, known as "Extraterrestrial Canyon" officially, is an important part of Zhangye National Geopark, which became a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2019. The Alien Valley features canyon, hill, and cliff landscapes formed by colorful conglomerate rocks, and is a comprehensive collection of unique landscapes.
