Cradle of civilization: Longquan Kiln(1/1)

Longquan is a historic and culturally rich city in Zhejiang Province, famous for its celadon production. The Longquan Kiln, which began during the Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD) and reached its peak in the Southern Song Dynasty (1127?1279), is one of the six major kiln systems of the Song Dynasty. The traditional firing technique of Longquan celadon, a "cultural symbol" alongside Song poetry and painting, is the first ceramic art listed in UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
