More than 2,000 people killed as earthquake strikes Afghanistan(1/3)

The death toll from earthquakes in western Afghanistan's Herat and neighboring provinces had risen to 2,445. More than 9,200 people had been injured and 1,320 houses had been damaged or destroyed.
