A research team led by Curtis Marean, a paleoanthropologist at Arizona State University, has discovered the earliest tools used for making clothes among prehistoric tools unearthed from Contrebandiers Cave in Morocco. The bone tools, dating back to 120,000 years ago, indicate that humans skinned small carnivores and then used tools to process these skins for fur and leather.
