An image of a snow leopard has been captured by an infrared camera installed in the headwaters area of the Yellow River in Qinghai Province. The Yuanshangcao nature reserve center said field surveys and infrared cameras collected thousands of photos and video footage of snow leopards, a critically endangered species in China, from Oct. 12 to 17. Years of effort have improved ecological conservation at the headwaters area of the Yellow River, which is part of the larger Sanjiangyuan National Park.
