The top three winners, Yu Yuanchun, Di Lin and Wang Junkang, really stood out in the field of 12 finalists. And directors from top national troupes were on hand hoping to snatch up some new talent.
In fact, the top three were awarded contracts on the spot. Two other finals - for the non-professional and group categories - will be held soon. All will be broadcast live on CCTV's music channel.
