(ECNS) – Since Sunday, Mid-Autumn Festival gifts bought with public funds are subject to reports and criticism at the website of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).

As the festival approaches, the CCDI has opened a channel on its website for public reports on corruption, including individuals who buy mooncakes (a traditional food for the festival) or other gifts using public funds.

The channel also enables netizens to come up with ideas to fight corruption.

The CCDI said it will issue criticisms about violations each week.
