Chengdu (ECNS) – A boy about 4 years old has gone viral online thanks to photos showing him rocking out at a construction site, accroding to chinanew.com

The photos posted at Sina Weibo on Wednesday show the boy named Xuanxuan standing barefoot on a sand pile and performing with a steel bar as a microphone.

By the morning of Thursday, the "rock boy" had received over 2,000,000 views on Weibo. Some netizens commented that he had the potential to be a star, while others showed concern about the boy's safety at the construction site.

Xuanxuan's father, surnamed Ding, said the photo was taken last year. Xuanxuan loves singing and imitating pop stars, Ding added.
