Xi'an (ECNS) -- Another kindergarten in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, is suspected of feeding antiviral drugs to children after a local kindergarten was exposed for doing so on Monday.

Affiliated with Soong Ching Ling Foundation's Shaanxi branch, the Hongji Kindergarten has 700 kids.

Suspicion was aroused after a child at the kindergarten told his parents that he had also been fed white pills.

Nearly 100 parents on Wednesday gathered and blocked the road in front of the kindergarten, demanding an explanation.

Parents said the two kindergartens share the same legal representative.

Some parents told reporters from Chinanews.com that their kids were also experiencing discomfort with several symptoms, including constipation, leg pain and stomach aches.

Anxiety was aroused among parents after Fengyun Kindergarten, a private school affiliated with Soong Ching Ling Foundation's Shaanxi branch, was shut down for feeding white prescription-strength antibacterial pills to 400 kids.

Police have taken the kindergarten's attorney, principal and doctor into custody.
