Snake with two heads found in Hubei  

湖北宜昌發現雙頭蛇 首尾各一個頭（圖）

(ECNS) -- A snake with a head on each end of its body was found in Yichang, Hubei province, on Tuesday.

The grey snake with red blotches on its belly was found by a grocery owner, surnamed Yang, in his shop near Sanxia Airport in Yichang.

"The snake slipped into my shop after the rain. I was about to throw it out after I caught it with a fire poker. However, as I took a closer look at it, I found it had two heads, and then I kept it in a glass bottle," Yan said.

"I found the snake was not that energetic after being kept in the bottle, so I let it go on Wednesday."

Experts said a snake of this kind was likely born from a malformed egg.
