Tongren Hospital mulls WeChat patient registration  

“掛號難”屢遭詬病 同仁醫院正研究用微信掛號

(ECNS)-- Beijing's Tongren Hospital is planning to redouble its efforts to thwart ticket scalpers by opening an official WeChat account for patients to register.

An official from Tongren Hospital made the remarks at a meeting of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals on Wednesday.

"As WeChat is a secure and private messaging platform, ticket scalpers will find no loopholes to exploit," the official said.

At the meeting aimed at improving medical services at Beijing's hospitals, an official from Beijing Anzhen Hospital said his hospital had introduced a machine specially designed for patients to vent after receiving poor services at the hospital.
