Lost dog awaits owner for 15 days at bus parking lot

(ECNS) -- A small brownish-yellow dog has been waiting for its owner for over half a month at a bus parking lot in Chongzhou, Southwest China's Sichuan province, Western China Metropolis Daily reported.

The little dog came to the lot with its owner half a month ago, but was left there.

Gou Huiqun, a staffer at the parking lot, said the dog looked into every bus window, sometimes even jumping onto buses.

"My bus passes by here five times every day, and the puppy jumps up to check every time," a bus conductor surnamed Yang said. "I thought it was looking for food at first, but later I found out it was looking for its owner."

The dog was nicknamed "Huanghuang" according to its hair color by the staff at the parking lot.

Some bus drivers wanted to take the puppy home, but gave up the idea for fear that the owner might come back.

"We hope it can find its owner as soon as possible," said a driver surnamed Feng.
