Beijing (CNS) -- The 2013 Beijing Overseas Chinese Businessmen Fair kicked off on Wednesday.
More than 300 businessmen from 27 countries and regions participated in the fair.
Seven Chinese companies, including Lenovo Group, Aigo Information Digital Technology Co, and Beijing Red Star Co, signed letters of intent with overseas Chinese enterprises.
"I hope entrepreneurs take the fair as an opportunity to deepen cooperation and enhance friendship," said Zhuang Rongwen, director general of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
The fair was co-sponsored by seven departments, including the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, the Department of Economy and Science of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce.
