據臺灣聯合新聞網報道，臺軍新竹基地一架幻影2000戰機20日早進行換裝訓練時失聯，2名飛官跳傘跳生已獲救。
ECNS -- A Mirage 2000 fighter jet, which was on a flight training mission, crashed into waters off Hsinchu in Taiwan on Monday morning.
Two pilots were rescued following an ejection from the craft moments before the crash, udn.com reported on Monday.
The fighter jet took off at 9:45, and its light spot on the radar system disappeared at 10:17.
A group has been set up by the Taiwan Air Command to investigate the crash.
All Mirage 2000 fighter jets have ground to a halt for a complete overhaul, and all training sessions have been suspended, according to the Taiwan Air Command.
