山西省政府7日對外發布消息稱,5月10日至31日,山西將對重點煤企進行安全生產檢查行動,對象為該省國有重點煤炭集團公司所屬的各類煤礦。
Taiyuan (CNS) -- Shanxi will carry out a safety inspection campaign of key state-owned coal mine enterprises from May 10 to May 31, according to the provincial government on Thursday.
Since the beginning of 2013, 14 people have been killed in eight accidents at state-owned coal mines, accounting for 82% of the number of coal mine deaths in Shanxi this year, the government said.
The occurrence of these accidents reflects the insufficient oversight of the dangers of coal mining.
Five special teams have been set up by the office of the coal industry in Shanxi province to conduct security checks on various types of coal mines owned by major state-owned companies.
Enterprises to be inspected include Datong Coal Mine Group, Shanxi Coking Coal Group, Yangquan Coal Industry Group, Lu'an Mining Group and Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group.
