China's largest coral aquarium opens in Hainan

4月27日，目前中國最大的珊瑚館在海南5A級旅游景區分界洲島向游客開放。游客可以在這里觀賞到120多種、上萬件活體珊瑚和珊瑚標本，以及其它的一些海洋生物標本等。

Lingshui (Ecns) -- The largest coral aquarium in China opened to the public on Saturday at Fenjiezhou Island, Sanya, Hainan province.

Covering an area of 1,200 square meters, the aquarium features more than 10,000 coral samples and living corals, including staghorn, tubular and red and black corals.

Visitors can also see the growing conditions of the corals.

The opening of the aquarium is of great significance in promoting ocean knowledge among the public, according to the director of the aquarium.

It can also contribute to research of the coral reef ecosystem, the director added.
