China, ROK hold 5th round of FTA talks

中韓自貿(mào)區(qū)第五輪談判26日在黑龍江省哈爾濱市舉行。中國商務(wù)部當日發(fā)布消息稱，中韓雙方深入討論了貨物貿(mào)易、服務(wù)貿(mào)易、投資及其他議題。

Beijing (CNS) -- The fifth round of negotiations for the free trade agreement (FTA) between China and South Korea was held in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, on Friday, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

China's chief negotiator was Assistant Commerce Minister Yu Jianhua. The South Korean delegation was headed by Woo Tae-hee, assistant commerce minister of the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy.

During the meeting, both sides made commitments to maintaining the momentum of negotiations, so as to build a "win-win situation" for the two countries.

According to Vice Minister of Commerce Chen Jian, the negotiation focused on investment, service trade, and tariff reduction between the two sides.

The negotiation comes six months after the fourth talk between the two countries held in South Korea last October.
