Hefei (CNS) -- Sci-tech gadgets and products, including face recognition tools, 360-degree panoramic view fish-eye video camera, portable folding electric vehicle, and auto stereo-scopic 3D display, attracted visitors' attention at the 2013 Taiwan Famous-Brand Expo, held in Hefei on Friday.
The expo features four themes: future science and technology, creative culture, LOHAS healthcare, and smart life. Six items on display have been listed as top global gadgets. They include: ASUS Taiji, the first double-LCD panel laptop; ASUS Padfone2, the first tablet smartphone; ASUS ALLIn One PC, the first theater sound effect PC; and Acer's S7 laptop, the first laptop with a crystal body.
The expo, organized by the Taiwan Trade Center, represents Taiwan's ingenuity in product and technological innovation, said Li Huiling, of the Taiwan Trade Center.
After going through a stringent screening process, some 158 products by 71 Taiwan companies were selected and put on show. The expo strives to promote the image of Taiwan innovation products and brand values, while seeking business partnerships with the mainland that can lead to win-win results.
