香港特區政府財政司司長曾俊華14日在其網志上表示,未來數年的工作計劃將繼續集中于開拓新市場,尤其是東盟(ASEAN)諸國,另一邊廂亦會加強與泛珠三角區域城市的聯系。
Hong Kong (CNS) -- Hong Kong will focus on exploring new markets to support the development of the city's economic growth, Hong Kong Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah has said.
In the forthcoming years, Hong Kong will focus on exploring markets in the member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), said Tsang.
Hong Kong has been attaching great importance to the development of its foreign trade businesses. Tsang pointed out that the Hong Kong government should optimize its role as policy maker and serve as a bridge for businesses to help attract more investments and create jobs.
After finishing the work related to the Hong Kong budget, Tsang will lead a business delegation to examine the markets in Myanmar and Cambodia.
Hong Kong has also been committed to strengthening business ties with mainland cities. Tsang said he is arranging a visit to cities in the Pearl River Delta to seek more trade cooperation opportunities.
