Guangzhou (CNS) -- A women-oriented employment service event was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on Tuesday.
The event was held jointly by several local departments, including human resources and social security bureau, the women's federation of Guangzhou, the justice bureau, and the population and family planning bureau.
The event attracted many businesses to demonstrate their projects aimed at encouraging the entrepreneurship of women. These projects ranged from beauty businesses to agricultural projects.
With the aim of promoting entrepreneurship and employment of women in Guangzhou, the event offered a sound platform for women to start their own small businesses, according to a program organizer from the women's federation of Guangzhou.
The event attracted 3,000 people on Tuesday, and a total of 3,301 jobs were being offered.
