3月13日晚，廣西南寧、柳州、桂林等市部分地區(qū)出現(xiàn)由強(qiáng)對(duì)流天氣引發(fā)的風(fēng)雹災(zāi)害，致使危及區(qū)域內(nèi)的農(nóng)作物及房屋受損，直接經(jīng)濟(jì)損失達(dá)4000萬(wàn)元人民幣。
Nanning (CNS) - A hail disaster that hit some areas of Nanning, Liuzhou and Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Wednesday caused direct economic losses of more than 40 million yuan.
According to the Guangxi Civil Affairs Bureau, 35,300 residents were affected by the hail disaster, which was caused by severe convective weather. About 1,278 residents were urgently relocated, more than 60,000 acres of crop areas were affected, 32 houses collapsed and 1,157 houses were seriously damaged. The direct economic losses reached 40 million yuan.
The Nanning Wuxu International Airport was temporarily closed on Wednesday night due to interruption in the power supply, and 16 flights were delayed.
More than 100 firefighters from the Nanning fire department joined the rescue work.
