400 motions tabled at NPC session   

十二屆全國人大一次會議收到代表議案約400件

十二屆全國人大一次會議秘書處議案組議案小組組長李伯鈞11日透露，截至今天中午12時本次大會代表提出議案的截止時間，大會秘書處議案組共收到以代表團和30名以上代表聯(lián)名提出的議案400件左右，“最后的數(shù)字要以13日大會主席團通過的有關報告為準”。

Beijing (CNS) -- About 400 motions have been tabled at the ongoing First Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, an official in charge said on Monday.

The motions were set forth either by a delegation or through the joint endorsement of more than 30 lawmakers, said Li Bojun, director of the office under the motions division.

This year's motions highlight safeguarding and improving people's livelihoods, including water, air and soil pollution control, he added.

The final and official figure will be released on Wednesday, he said.
