Qingdao(CNS) -- The North Sea Fleet is well prepared for the 14th escort mission in the Gulf of Aden, according to the fleet's commander on Friday.

The ships' crew members trained several times for the mission during their Spring Festival holiday, said Commander Yuan Yubo.

Several teams, including command teams and security groups, have been set up to optimize plans for military drills and convoy actions by the fleet.

The North Sea Fleet is one of three fleets of the People's Liberation Army Navy.
