中國持美債總額破1.2萬億美元 仍為最大債權(quán)國

美國財(cái)政部15日公布的初步統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2012年12月，中國大幅增持197億美元美債，持有總額突破1.2萬億大關(guān)并創(chuàng)全年新高。

Washington (CNS) -- China's holding of United States government debt reached a record high last December, the Treasury Department disclosed Friday.

China's US Treasury holdings reached $1.2 trillion, up by $19.7 billion, the department said.

It was the third consecutive month for China to increase its holdings.

Other major creditors also increased their holdings of US debt in 2012, which demonstrated their confidence in the country's economic future.
