記者4日晚間從山西省運城市垣曲縣委宣傳部獲悉，3日晚8時許，在山西聞垣高速發生的25車連撞交通事故中，目前已確認5人死亡，30人受傷。
Taiyuan (CNS) -- Five people were killed and 30 others injured in a chain collision involving 25 cars in northern China's Shanxi province on Sunday night, according to the local publicity department.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. on a snow-covered section of the Wenxi-Yuanqu Highway in Yuanqu county. Four of the cars involved caught fire.
The slippery condition of the road was the main cause of the accident, the department said.
The injured have been hospitalized.
