由文化部等多部門組織的2013年第三屆海外“歡樂春節”活動31日正式啟動，春節期間中國將在全球99個國家和地區的251個城市舉辦豐富多彩的活動，讓各國人民共同感受中國年的獨特魅力。
Beijing (CNS) -- The third session of the "Happy Chinese New Year" campaign has begun, according to the Ministry of Culture on Thursday.
Cultural and entertainment activities will be held in 251 cities in 99 countries and regions across the world, said the ministry.
This year's campaign consists of 385 festive activities, including temple fairs, cultural exhibitions, fashion shows, firework displays and other events to bring the joy of Chinese New Year to foreign friends around the world, said Zhao Haisheng, director general of the ministry's International Affairs Department.
The campaign was performed in some 40 countries and regions in 2010 and over 60 in 2011.
