當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間27日上午，應(yīng)北約508編隊(duì)指揮員、意大利海軍那塔勒少將的邀請(qǐng)，中國(guó)海軍第十三批護(hù)航編隊(duì)指揮員李曉巖少將一行登臨508編隊(duì)指揮艦、意大利海軍“圣·馬可”號(hào)兩棲船塢運(yùn)輸艦，雙方就如何進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)護(hù)航合作、增強(qiáng)軍事互信進(jìn)行了深入坦誠(chéng)的交流。
Gulf of Aden (CNS) -- The commander of China's 13th naval escort task force met with his counterpart from the NATO 508 task fleet on Sunday morning local time.
Commander Li Xiaoyan boarded the ITS San Marco, the flagship of the NATO 508 task fleet, to discuss counter-piracy operations and other matters of common concern with Italian Rear Admiral Antonio Natale.
Li said that China's task force has been very concerned about information exchange and cooperation with other countries since carrying out surveillance in the coastal waters of Somalia. Natale said he is willing to cooperate with China's naval escort.
It was the first time for the 13th naval escort to meet a counterpart from another country.
