Shangqiu (CNS)-- The disciplinary and security departments of Shangqiu in Henan province are investigating a retired local official accused of raping and extorting a local woman, according to the Shangqiu municipal government on Monday.
The woman claimed that Zhang Minqiang, former director of the Shangqiu Bureau of Letters and Calls, induced her to have sexual relations with him and threatened her repeatedly.
The woman's online posts stated that Zhang asked her for several hundred thousand yuan in exchange for helping her find a job before he sexually assaulted her.
She also posted a collection of sexual photos involving Zhang.
