四川省安監局通報17日稱，成都市青白江攀成鋼建設公司煉鐵車間發生的煤氣中毒事故，已造成4人死亡，2人受傷。
Chengdu (CNS)-- Four people were killed and two others were poisoned by gas Thursday night at an iron smelting workshop in Chengdu, Sichuan province, according to the Sichuan Provincial Work Safety Bureau.
The poisoning happened at a workshop run by the Panchenggang Construction Company in the city's Qingbaijiang district.
The incident began when a worker was poisoned during a safety check of the workshop's machinery. Five workers who came to his rescue were also poisoned.
All six workers were sent to nearby Panchenggang Hospital. Four of them died at the hospital and two were transferred to another hospital.
An investigation of the accident is still underway.
