Two people killed in fireworks factory explosion  

江西上栗一花炮廠發生燃爆事故2人死 身份已確認

16日上午9時20分許，江西省萍鄉市上栗縣華東花炮廠工區發生燃爆事故，造成2人不幸遇難。當晚20時許，上栗縣宣傳部門公布了上述兩名遇難者名單。

Nanchang (CNS)-- Two people were killed by an explosion at a fireworks factory in Shangli county of Pingxiang city, Jiangxi province, according to the local publicity department on Wednesday.

The accident happened at the Hua Dong factory at around 9:20 a.m. Wednesday. The deceased, Liang Guoqing and Zhang Bangwei, were both workers there.

An emergency plan has been launched and rescue groups have been dispatched to the factory, local authorities said.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
